As a result, we have produced this guide to clever kitchen design ideas for a practical kitchen.
Niches and alcoves
Most fitted kitchens will come with some panels that aren’t really used for anything. And behind these is free, empty space. So why not use these infill gaps as clever storage? Perfect for stacking up your bread boards, cookery books, or even the herbs and spices, niches and alcoves can make for a stylish, practical storage solution.
Pull-out workspace
Sometimes kitchens just dont have enough workspace. And not every kitchen is well suited to a kitchen island. This is where pull-out workspaces can be a good idea. Usually, they pull out from underneath the original workspace, and are well supported to make a sturdy workspace addition.
Fold out wall cupboards
When wall cupboards are above eye level, and you can’t really see what’s inside, the tins and jars at the back, tend to stay there. And never be used. But, you can use the depth of the cupboard to create a fold out wall cupboard. These tend to have three shelving racks that fold into each other, and then back in to what looks like an ordinary cupboard. A great way to add storage, and use up those supplies.
